By the end of the course, you will understand the concept of Self-Myofascial Release and the role of fascia within the body, the reasons why it becomes tight and the concept of trigger points.
You will also gain an understanding of what happens during SMR within the tissue fibres.
Furthermore, you will be able to identify suitable equipment to use and know how to perform SMR on various muscles within the body. And finally, you will be able to recognise some of the contraindications that would prevent a person from undertaking SMR.
